Alexandra Pardal

Alexandra Pardal is a writer and consultant in European politics, having spent almost a decade working on the development of EU policies and the European Union. As Head of EU Policy and the President's Office at the Party of European Socialists from 2004 to 2009, Alexandra developed political initiatives for Europe's centre-left, including the New Social Europe – led by PES President Poul Nyrup Rasmussen and former European Commission President Jacques Delors – as well as the common party manifesto for the 2009 European elections. During this time, she was also responsible for managing the PES Prime Ministers' network as well as PES networks in the European Commission and European Parliament. Alexandra previously worked in the European Parliament on globalization issues and as a European public affairs consultant to a range of multinational companies and trade associations. She holds a Masters degree in European politics and administration from the College of Europe in Bruges.
