Events and Projects Director
Anna Owen joined the Foreign Policy Centre in February 2008. She co-ordinates the Centre's wide-ranging programme of events, including the seminar programme, Annual Lecture, Annual Reception and our events at each of the three political Party Conferences. She also manages the individual and corporate membership schemes and contributes to research. Her areas of interest include international development and the defence and military aspects of foreign policy, particularly the changing roles and public perceptions of the British armed forces.
Before joining the FPC, Anna worked at the Overseas Development Institute, and prior to that, at the BBC World Service Trust.
She has a BSc in Politics and International Relations and an MSc in Development and Security, both from the University of Southampton.
