Barrie Boles works for a European strategic communications company. She holds an honours degree in International Relations and Modern History from the University of St Andrews and an MA in Near and Middle East Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. Barrie has previous experience working at the European Commission, NATO Headquarters, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence. Barrie's main interests include the history and politics of Iran, counter-terrorism and human rights.
