Dr Chris Ogden

Research Associate

Chris Ogden is a Lecturer in Asian Security at the University of St. Andrews.

His 2010 Ph.D thesis 'Gear Shift: Hindu Nationalism and the Evolution of Indian Security' (University of Edinburgh) sought to show how domestic policy sources directly impact upon a state's external security policies. His other research interests relate to identity and security politics in both East Asia (especially China's foreign and domestic politics) and South Asia.
