Dr Hasan Turunc

Research Associate

Hasan is Tutor in Politics and International Relations at Royal Holloway, University of London. He is a political researcher and analyst specialising in Turkey and surrounding region. Hasan recently received PhD and Democracy, Politics and Governance MSc from Royal Holloway, University of London. Hasan collaborated in establishing Turkey Project at Chatham House, the Royal Institute of International Affairs. Hasan has numerous publications. His forthcoming book is entitled 'The Democratic Transition in Turkey: The Transformation of Civil Society and the Challenges of EU Accession" will be published by I.B. Tauris.
