Simon Hix is a leading expert in European and comparative politics,including the European Parliament, public opinion on Europe, Europe-US and Europe-Asia relations, designing democratic institutions, and regional integration in East Asia. Simon is Professor of European and Comparative Politics at the London School of Economics, and is the
author inter alia of 'What's Wrong with the European Union and How to Fix It' (Polity, 2008), and 'The Political System of the European Union', 2nd edition (Palgrave, 2005).
