Richard Gowan

Richard Gowan is the former Director of the FPC's Europe Programme, having been previously attached to the OSCE Mission to Croatia, where he worked on minority rights and inter-ethnic politics. Before joining the Centre, he studied History and International Relations at Cambridge.
Richard is an accomplished and experienced commentator on European affairs. He makes regular appearances as a speaker at public events and on news and current affairs shows. He has frequently been heard talking about European democracy, security and peace-keeping on the BBC, Bloomberg and CNBC.
