Richard Youngs
Dr Richard Youngs is senior researcher at the 'Fundación para las Relaciones Internacionales y el Diálogo Exterior' (FRIDE) in Madrid, and lecturer at the University of Warwick in the UK. He previously worked for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and coordinated an EU funded research project on democracy in the Middle East, within which he established a network of experts from the Middle East and compiled a series of policy recommendations for the European Commission. Youngs has also acted as consultant to the FCO, DFID and a number of European research institutes.
