The Rt Hon Baroness (Lindsay) Northover is a Liberal Democrat member of the House of Lords. She was her party’s Foreign Affairs Spokesperson 2016 - 2021, the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Angola and Zambia 2016-2020, and Development Spokesperson 2002-2010. In the Coalition Government (2010-15) she served in various Departments including Health, Education, Justice, Climate Change, Women and Equalities and International Development. She was Africa Minister in DFID, 2014-15. She serves on the Lords Science and Technology Select Committee, and formerly served on the Environment and Climate Change Select Committee. The Rt Hon Baroness Northover is a member of FPC’s Political Council.
