Saipira Furstenberg is an Associate Researcher at the University of Exeter. In 2018-19 she was a lecturer in Politics at the department of Social Sciences at Oxford Brookes University, UK. She was previously a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Exeter working on Central Asia Political Exiles (CAPE) database. Her research interests are in post-Soviet region of Central Asia, extra-territorial politics, international dimensions of democracy and global governance.
