Gemma Doyle is a former parliamentarian and Shadow Minister. She currently works as a political consultant. She is also an associate at Global Partners Governance where she works to help train emerging politicians and activists in the former Soviet Union and Middle East.
Gemma was an MP from 2010-2015. She served on the Energy & Climate Change Select Committee before being appointed as a Shadow Defence Minister. She was the first woman MP in either a Government or Opposition defence team in the House of Commons and led for the opposition on legislation including the Armed Forces Bill 2011. Her other parliamentary interests included large-scale infrastructure projects and links with countries in the Balkans and Eastern Europe.
