Tendik Tynystanov is the Director of Strategy and Impact at the Thomson Reuters Foundation, the international development arm of the world’s leading news and information provider, Thomson Reuters Corporation. Born and raised in Kyrgyzstan, he was educated in the United States and the United Kingdom. A political scientist by training, he is a senior international development professional, with two decades of experience with UNDP, the European Commission, and British Red Cross. Tendik has sat on boards and steering committees of European and Central Asian NGOs and was a member of the Strategic Advisory Group for the State of Humanitarian System Report, a global study that looks at the shape and evolution of the international humanitarian system.
