Tricia Croasdell

Tricia Croasdell has worked for the world’s largest conservation organisation, WWF-UK, as the Director of Public Sector Partnerships since late 2018. She was recruited to develop their institutional fundraising strategy from scratch. Achieving this financial year an in-year signing value of £4.125m from the UK Government. With over 14 years working in the heart of Government, most recently as the Director of Communications at the Commonwealth Summit Unit, Tricia is an experienced communications specialist. Her career began with HM Treasury in 2004 as a Policy Adviser in International Financial Sanctions. Tricia then progressed to the Ministry of Defence, working in their Press Office as the lead press officer for Operations in Afghanistan before being promoted to the Deputy Head of Media Operations at the Permanent Joint Headquarters (PJHQ) where she was involved in managing the incountry military media operations team for Afghanistan and Libya, including oversight of planning and implementation for all UK military media activities in these regions. Following a stint learning Welsh as a result of working at the Press Secretary to the Secretary of State for Wales, Tricia went on to work as the Head of Campaigns in the Prime Minister’s Office from 2014 until 2017, covering national security, overseas voters and domestic living wages. Tricia has also acted as consultant for the UK Governments Communications Service (GCS) overseas, such as for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Sri Lanka on Sri Lanka’s approach to peace and reconciliation. Since 2018, Tricia has sat on the board of London Metropolitan University as well as advising on their Finance and Resources Committee.
